Ingredients
  

  • 4 medium sweet potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (optional)
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper (optional)
  • Butter, cinnamon, maple syrup, or brown sugar for serving

Instructions
 

  • Wash and scrub the sweet potatoes thoroughly, then pat them dry.
  • Use a fork to poke several holes around each sweet potato.
  • Rub lightly with olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt if desired.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 390°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.
  • Place the sweet potatoes in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  • Cook for 35 to 45 minutes, flipping halfway through cooking.
  • Check doneness by inserting a fork or knife into the center. It should slide in easily.
  • Carefully remove, slice open, fluff the inside, and add your favorite toppings before serving.
