  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1/3 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/4 cup finely grated onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, feta cheese, grated onion, garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, parsley, dill, oregano, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.
  • Mix gently until all ingredients are just combined. Do not overmix to keep the meatballs tender.
  • Shape the mixture into medium-sized meatballs using your hands or a cookie scoop.
  • Arrange the meatballs evenly on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake for 18 to 20 minutes, or until the meatballs are fully cooked and lightly golden on the outside.
  • Serve warm with tzatziki sauce, pita bread, rice, or a Greek salad.

Recipe Notes

  • For extra moisture, use dark meat ground turkey if available.
  • You can pan-sear the meatballs for a crispier exterior.
  • These meatballs store in the fridge for 4 days and freeze well for up to 3 months.
  • Delicious served in Mediterranean bowls, wraps, or with roasted vegetables.
