- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1/3 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 1/4 cup finely grated onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, feta cheese, grated onion, garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, parsley, dill, oregano, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.
Mix gently until all ingredients are just combined. Do not overmix to keep the meatballs tender.
Shape the mixture into medium-sized meatballs using your hands or a cookie scoop.
Arrange the meatballs evenly on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 18 to 20 minutes, or until the meatballs are fully cooked and lightly golden on the outside.
Serve warm with tzatziki sauce, pita bread, rice, or a Greek salad.
Recipe Notes
For extra moisture, use dark meat ground turkey if available.
You can pan-sear the meatballs for a crispier exterior.
These meatballs store in the fridge for 4 days and freeze well for up to 3 months.
Delicious served in Mediterranean bowls, wraps, or with roasted vegetables.
