- 1 lb thinly sliced ribeye steak
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 4 hoagie rolls, lightly toasted
- 8 slices provolone cheese (or Cheez Whiz for classic style)
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add sliced onions and peppers; cook until softened and caramelized, about 6–8 minutes. Remove and set aside.
