Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs round steak, cut into serving portions
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 medium onion, sliced<
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ cup beef broth
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions
 

  • In a shallow dish, combine flour, salt, and pepper. Dredge the steak pieces in the mixture.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Brown the steak on both sides, then transfer to the slow cooker.
  • Add sliced onions, bell peppers, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and beef broth over the meat.
  • Cover and cook on <strong>Low</strong> for 7–8 hours or <strong>High</strong> for 4–5 hours until the meat is tender.
  • Serve hot with mashed potatoes, rice, or egg noodles.
